1 brick
There of lots of photos from this afternoon of the children looking great, stamping in the giant basin of mud, but I chose this one that Mattie took. I am bloody proud of this one brick, it took us all afternoon. Mattie and I sawed and made the mould whilst Nell napped. Then I sieved the earth, clay and sand, and chopped the straw in, whilst the children fought/played on the trampoline. Then we mushed and stomped and slopped. There it is. Wish we'd started at the beginning of this glorious sunny summer, because there's a little autumn chill in the mornings now and I've 699 sun-dried bricks to go. I spent half the evening looking up earth sieving machines on-line.
