bief again

We were supposed to be heading off to the sea this morning; and then at 10.30 an 86 year old miller from Melrand turned up with his carpenter son to have a look around and give us some appreciated advice. And that swallowed 3 hours. So this afternoon we set off with some buckets for muddy clay, a shovel and paddling shoes and fixed a giant hole in the bank of the millstream. And now the wheel is turning the best it has all summer, well worth the work.
