Lesmurdie Falls
What a fabulous day! Today was my first blipmeet since moving back to Australia and my first in Perth with GlassRoad. Despite the dreary grey sky and odd torrential downpour we didn't let the weather beat us and took to the hills east of Perth for a spot of wine tasting, lunching (cheesy fondue, baguette and frites!), and art gallery browsing. We also squeezed in a short walk to the beautiful Lesmurdie Falls.
Lesmurdie Falls National Park is located 22 km east of Perth. It is situated on the western edge of the Darling Scarp and has commanding views of the Swan Coastal Plain, the city of Perth and surrounding suburbs. This was taken on the viewing platform at the very top of the falls. The platform is a metal grid which allows you to see through to the falls beneath your feet. Pretty awesome! I love how lush and green it is at the moment (thank you rain!) and the wildflowers are going crazy!
Thanks GlassRoad for a really fabulous day out! And thanks for the all the Namibia travel tips!
