DAY IN THE KITCHEN

It is always satisfying to see what you have accomplished at the end of the day. Those jars of jam or marmelade lined up on the window sill look so good.. In this case it was re bottling the olives into an assortment of jars ready to share with friends and family. I also made some rusks. Poor D has been enduring a batch of rusks where I left the sugar out! Then there was a large pot of chicken soup to be prepared for the hot box and finally a dish of chicken roasted in orange juice, honey herbs and a dash of soy sauce.
I am feeling virtuous and am off to celebrate a surprise birthday party of a friend.
