SWARTBERG HOTEL, PRINCE ALBERT

We had our first meeting of the newly constituted Art Movie Club at the Swartberg Hotel. They very kindly have allowed us to meet in their conference room. Our first movie, The Impressionists was 3 hours long so we had two breaks to have some refreshments. .... cappuccino and cheese cake for me! Yum!
The movie was amazing with lovely landscapes and the photographic emphasis on light made the most ordinary things look amazing. The main artist featured was Monet. Then there were his friends Renoir and Manet and not so nice Degas. Would not mind sitting through the three hours again!
