Giving Glass a Lift

The Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow has many good things to look at but even the glass around the lift shaft had been thought about carefully. This is a shot through the two layers of the shaft's glass naturally backlit, so one layer (the front) has bigger flecks and are out of focus while the back layer has smaller ones and focused. Souped up a little with Lightroom for contrast etc. Nice to have a gallery that isn't paranoid about photography: pleasant young woman stopped to explain the window glass to me as I lined up shots! Top marks!
