Of pigs and men

Went out early evening, after visiting my mum in hospital. I'm not a great fan of hospital visiting, it's stressful, isn't it, trying to pretend everything's fine when your family are in there?

So I thought I'd go say hello to the piggies after, as a wind-down, but, yes, you've guessed it, as soon as I got out there the sun disappeared behind a huge cloudbank, so there wasn't much point blipping trotters and snouts. Instead you have a view over Pig City down to where a rather nice new farmhouse is being built.

The sky was distinctly odd, but perhaps because of its colours and the foursquare building, this reminded me of an illustration in a kids' storybook. So this is my blip for the day..

Now I am very tired - time for a glass of wine..
