Well...here we go!
I've been told for years that I absolutely must start a blog of some kind, and let people see my poetry, stories and photographs. Well, thanks to a few wonderful friends, I found blipfoto, which seems to combine everything perfectly!
No poetry for today, as this is my first post, but the picture is from T.S Eliot's epic poem The Wasteland (or The Waste Land, whichever you prefer). I think this line in particular speaks to me because, in reality, nothing is left of us when we die, and these fragments (poetry, prose, thoughts in people's minds, memories in their hearts, traces of God's love through history) is all that is left.
So this is my aim, to shore up my fragments against an inevitable ruin, and hopefully it will be a lot of fun on the way! So yeah, this is me, I'm Aimee, and this is my blip!
