Chipmunks

Very busy day. The highlight of which was a trip to our newly opened Sainsburys (or Saynsbiry as No 3 spells it!) for lunch.

30 mins waiting in a queue...25 mins waiting for hot food. It was like the Keystone Cops. New store. No one knew how to work anything or where thing were kept. What ever happened to staff training days !! The highlight was when 3 'trainee managers' came to wipe tables and help. You could tell they were trainees - they look terrified - and still had the pin marks in their shirts!

We've been back twice today. Kids think it's a great day out ! (not sure why - we have an Asda and a Morrisons and several Tescos (doesn't everybody!!?) - but for some reason they all want to go to Saynsbirys.

Spent all day cleaning or ferry kids to extra curricular activites.
