Pedestrian Drawbridge

This bridge spans a canal which contains several boat slips, the Vista Queen tour boat, and the William A. Irwin which is a retired ore carrier used for tours. During Halloween it's turned into a ghost ship. I went once. It was so scary I've never been back.
Monte bought back 40 tomatoes from the cabin. Our 2 plants are really producing. I spent the morning making salsa to freeze. Then I met Mary, Melissa and Jill for a 12 mile bike ride on the Duluth Lakewalk. It was a gorgeous day and a new extension opened today. We stopped for lunch at the Canal Park Brewery. I had never eaten there before. Their fish tacos were excellent and so was the beer. My thighs were burning on the way back as it's slightly uphill and this is the longest ride I've been on this summer.
