The Plough at Cadsden

Today we treated Georgie & Martin to lunch here to celebrate (or commiserate) their Ruby Wedding Anniversary (40years) - you get less for murder as Martin said !
We had a lovely relaxed meal in a busy friendly atmosphere. The pub is strategically placed on The Ridgeway Path which is an ancient track way which has been used for millennia. Today has been very warm & there have been lots of walkers stopping for liquid refreshment etc.

We left the pub at about 2. 30 and I dropped Carol at The Chestnuts to see her Mum. I went on to collect the post, a chest of drawers, a mirror & a clock from the bungalow & then Nicola picked up Carol & brought her home.

I am hoping that the rest of the afternoon is going to be quite relaxed.
