blipcorn
so it got to 8pm and i'd not taken any photos and one of the best things we did today was make popcorn and watch a dvd. so as we'd eaten all the popcorn i made some more. purely so i could blip it. which is a first for me.
ok so far.
then i tried taking photos but decided the outside light would be better so took the saucepan outside and put it on the huge wooden box thing where we keep our garden tools. it has one of those shed roof, bitumen type coverings. i was snapping away and began to smell warm tar.
'that's odd' i thought 'you wouldn't think you could still get that smell when it's not particularly warm outside and it's not particularly new'
the penny then dropped
i have got the tar off the bottom of the pan - but my hands are falling apart from the amount of washing up liquid i had to use (rest assured, it was eco stuff). the shed/box thing now has a nice pan-shaped scar.
and the popcorn was a bit burned
i hope it was all worth it
apart from that, i spent ages getting bikes out only for them to give up after 5 mins, we tagged along with the neighbours for a 9-child, 2-adult trip to the park, and went swimming after which we all felt better.
sibling rivalry running very high in our house at the moment. constantly checking each other to make sure things are fair. any tips?
