Cafe Kitchen

Today I ran a party for a group of long-standing friends and this morning collected an order from Cafe Delizique in Hyndland, in Glasgow's West End. It is a wonderful eating place with an open kitchen at right angles to the counter. As I waited for my order to be gathered together I took a photo of the young woman busily preparing a dish for a diner.
This scene must be replicated many millions of times in restaurant kitchens as people gather to meet and eat in their favourite weekend haunts.
