Bodhrán Player

A glorious last day of August with a concert by Bearsden Fiddlers at Mugdock Country Park. For the last five years that they have been giving an outdoor concert at the end of summer it has been horrible weather. Today made up for it with dozens of local people turning out to enjoy their Scottish repertoire of song and dance music in beautiful sunshine. The bodhrán player glanced over as I crouched down to take her picture. They were raising money today for Children First - the leading charity in Scotland for children. I heard they raised almost £400.
