'Fathers Day'
A nice relaxing day for Fathers day, with some beautiful warm weather today.
We had a nice visit from Nana Mac & Uncle Donald this morning, always nice to see them and spend some time with my Dad's side of the family. Nana has just turned a young 97 years old a couple of weeks ago and was telling me how she would like to get a caravan so she can do a bit more travelling around the place as she can't go overseas any more.
Uncle Donald was able to figure out how the Spinning wheel that MsMun bought a few months ago and seemed to be enjoying learning how the mechanics of this old fashioned machine work. MsMun thought that he could set up a workshop to restore and sell any of these old wheels or teach people how to use them.
Last nights Gumbo that MsMun made was delicious and there are some really nice smells drifting upstairs as I type this tonight.
I went for a quick drive out to St.Andrews pub this arvo to catch Greg Champion and the Useful Members of Society for an hour or so, then made a quick stop on the side of the road home to snap a few shots at the local Alpaca farm.
I have also been remembering my Dad today also and all of the good things that Dad's mean to you. Love you Dad and miss you very much, will remember our good times and be forever grateful for everything you've done for me.
Happy Fathers day to all of the other Dad's out there who are celebrating today with their families.
