I must be psychic!

Sunday lunch is chugging away in the oven so time to water the vegetables. As I had the hosepipe in the tomato growbag I was thinking 'Haven't seen the frog for a while' and about 2 seconds later he/she popped out from inside the bag. I'm wondering if it's a she as it seems a bit fatter and there are two funny bumps towards the back of the abdomen which I haven't noticed before.

Also had a 'Pet Rescue' episode when a chap from around the corner came to see me and said he can hear his pet cat crying and he thinks it's in our side garden. I went around with him and sure enough there he was. The cat was trapped in some plastic netting that I use to stop cats and foxes digging and pooing in the veg patch. I had forgotten to put the net back across the patch and it was gathered up along the top of some 3ft fencing. The cat had tried to get over the fencing and got it's head and a hind leg caught.
It was frothing at the nose and mouth, probably been there all night, and the netting was VERY tight around it's neck and caught up in it's collar.
I used my little penknife to cut the netting free and the cat is ok but you could feel the marks around the neck where the net was so tight. I don't think he would have lasted a lot longer if our neighbour had not heard him crying.

Also managed to get the rear wheel on my m/bike today, it's been a good day so far!
