Apples on the Solway

We spent last night staying with friends near Silloth. You could say it was a windy night, a very windy night, I think we were rocked to sleep in the van. The house overlooks the Solway and the garden is surrounded by a stone wall. These lovely looking apples are growing in the garden, along with vegetables, a green house full of tomatoes, a couple of large chickens and a patio with views looking over the water to Scotland.
