Finally got a photo of a lizard – they’re so fast and so shy, but this one came wriggling up to Simone and I as we sat outside the house and I had to get a snap of it. I left Simone on lizard-watch duty while I grabbed my camera, then cajoled my autofocus into action. The lizard really was tiny (smaller than a cicada, more the size of an earthworm with legs!) and wasn’t very pleased about me attacking it with a camera, but never mind – I got my shot! Pretty sure it’s a baby as it’s teeny by lizard standards and tried to run up the wall and failed miserably. It had also yet to fear humans – a lesson it’s probably now learnt!
