.. who was on 'A Good Read' today (Sunday), and said if he didn't write the day's events on the day they happened then they would fade away from his memory!

I know I went to Sunk Island in the afternoon where I saw there rather unexciting juvenile starlings (I'm not a big fan as they're so messy and greedy and noisy - I keep being told they're in decline, but there are plenty around here!)

In the evening I went on a bat walk at the local nature reserve I help out with - over 40 people turned up! And there was another bat walk elsewhere on the same evening! Amazing!
