One of those things you put sweets in and then break to release the sweets....?

Apparently it's a Spanish concept and the most common one is a pink donkey....

Our soon-to-be 18 year old doesn't want a pink donkey for his party in October so he has made his own.

Other preparations today have included pressure washing the patio and practicing laying out the summer house (now demolished) walls as a floor for the party tent.

He hasn't said who is on the guest list yet (Mrs. P and myself are most definitely NOT), but with such advanced preparations I reckon there will be Royalty and World Leaders!!

Have a great week. The students start back tomorrow. Welcoming the new students is always a highlight of my year and I can't wait to meet them.
