I win!

A family gathering today, in the wonderful open parkland that is Knole Park, for the Sevenoaks 7 Race. Three of the family (two daughters and one son in law) completed the race and did very well. We were there to cheer them on and look after the children during the event.

I have many pictures of the race, the picnic on the grass that lasted into the afternoon, the games that ensued, the deer which tried to share the food and I was pleased with the capture of a flying scooter rider in Whitstable.

But in the end I decided that the youngest grandaughter, challenging her grandad in their own race, with the other two girls doing a bit of climbing in the background, best summed up the day. A lovely day and well done to all the runners, especially our three.
