A grand day out

Spent a fantastic day with Mr CG, my 2 boys and their 2 girlfriends at Bunkfest in Wallingford. Oxon. It was described as a folk festival which is not really my thing but in fact there wasnt much folk!
There was a lot of what I would call morris dancing but it probably has some other name because it was much 'darker'.They were wearing black, had their faces blacked up and were more aggressive. I will google it tomorrow when I am less tired! This guy was accompanying some clog dancers.
There was a band that were a bit reminiscent of Mumford and Sons and a really good Travelling Show act. Then it was on to a riverside pub for a meal accompanied by a traditional Ragtime Jazz band. Back to the main arena to see a young lady strumming her guitar and singing lovely ballads - didnt catch her name.

And best of all....... it was FREE.
