A nice surprise. Dog sitting Day 8

A friend of mine offered to have us join them to see Harry Connick Jr in Atlantic City this evening. Along with seeing the performance, we are able to meet the artist after the show!! I will be editing this after the show with details.
Mac is having a little outing today with my son and grandson.

Okay, I finally decided to change the photo on my Blip to show the highlight of my evening, meeting Harry Connick Jr.! I had to scan the photo to crop it and then take a photo of the photo...it took a while to make the change.
He put on an amazing show and did a lot of interacting with the audience; telling stories and just being a nice guy. On stage he makes it look effortless to perform. Even when meeting him, he seemed so at ease. I was nervous, dry mouthed and blurted out 'You made me really happy tonight.'...then added quickly, 'Your show , it was great. I really enjoyed it.'....ugh!! He was so nice and replied, "I'm so happy to hear that." What a smile he has! I was smiling so big in this photo you can't even see my eyes!!! That is my friend Karen in the photo with me. She is the one who invited me to come to the show. Her son works at the Casino where he was performing and managed to get us a 'meet and greet' with him.
He performed with an orchestra band and they were super good. They did some funk, jazz, blues and even a country song. A very enjoyable time.
My sister returned from her vacation today so our dog sitting has come to an end. Mac did go out yesterday for a 'meet and greet' of his own with an American Boxer that belonged to my son's friend. I had to laugh when he sent me this photo in a text. Poor Mac looks like he could be eaten by this dog. It seems they got along just fine though.
