Cromarty Queen

The 50 passenger/4 car ferry from Nigg to Cromarty unloads it's 2pm cargo. The previous ferry, Cromarty Rose was a 2 car boat and about 4 years ago I thought it'd be a good idea to take my 2 seater car across to the north side and continue my scenic journey up to Thurso. Got the car half on and the tail was scraping on the ramp. Reversing started dragging the front spoiler off. Dilemma! All ended well but they wouldn't let me aboard and I had to drive the 50 miles around the bay to get half a mile from where I started. The ferry started during the booming off shore oil rig building developments at Invergordon in the 70's.
