This looks like I am in chase mode! In truth I did take off just as we entered my favourite woods. I had seen a sudden movement in the trees and lunged in the direction of it, only to quickly see that it was the beautiful deer from last Wednesday. It really did look splendid, all lit up by the sunshine.

Well that was it - brakes applied and nose adjusted to a different level - as mentioned before I am just not interested in deer! Mum's call "biscuit" turned me around immediately and in the direction of a much tastier morsel.

Won me some Brownie points - until I barked at a sheep the other side of a fence later on and spoilt it all. Oh dear!
