Flight of the Wild Geese

I went up to Peckleton for a walk and a potential sunset shot, but instead came away with several shots of skein of geese. In about a 20 minute period there were about 10 skein of geese passed over, including one that passed directly over me. I'm not sure where they were coming from but they landing in the stubble field near me., possibly for a late feed and roost. It was quite magical watching some many flights coming over as it was a nice evening and it was so unexpected to see the geese.
