White egret

Visit to Snape Maltings today with all the family, lovely day to round off my weeks holiday. Lunch, followed by a river trip where we saw a couple of white egrets. Not many other wading birds today as the tide was in.

We then had a walk around the art then a mooch around the eclectic mix of shops.

It was my book group night, a few friends who meet up and catch up with each others lives whilst commenting on a recent read. We have just finished The Painted Bridge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We all sat in the garden around the fire pit - lovely atmosphere.
