Loch Gordon

It was one of those days today where it didn't look that nice a day on looking out the window but when you went outside it was glorious!

I saw a baby coot with its parents for the first time on the Lochan today. Tried to take a photo of it but it kept swimming in and out the reeds. Thought I'd managed to get one but when I uploaded it, couldn't even see the darn thing until I did a major crop on it! So it's my emergency back up photo of the reeds beside the Lochan instead!

Just made some lentil soup for dinner. Managed to forget about it and burn it slightly but thought I'd rescued it in time. Hubbie has just tasted it though and declared it "bogging" so guess I need an emergency dinner tonight too!!
