Cinder Toffee

Cooking & Science Experiment combined in an attempt to make home-made crunchie bars for granny's birthday.

It, very unfortunately, didn't work.

Lovely husband tried a second batch later.

It, fortunately, worked a bit better. Not brilliant but at least this time edible.

New tub of bicarbonate of soda needed I reckon.
