After the Rain

It poured basically the entire day. When I took the dogs our for a potty break later in the afternoon (yea, not a walk, the rain was ridiculous) both dogs refused to walk since the rain was so heavy. They both just hunkered down in the parking lot. I had to slowly walk with them with the umbrella over them until we made it to the trees for a little cover. And then they just stared around as if something had attacked them and refused to pee. Sigh. They figured it out eventually, though at that point we were all drenched to the bone (even me, with the umbrella ...). The moment we got to the door, the rain let up to a nice gentle sprinkle. Figures right ...

In other news, Brave Black Dog Photography is legit! I have the tradename document in my sweaty hands - which now means I can apply for insurance and a bank account and officially kick off my pet photography business. (I have been terribly slow at this ... confidence issues mostly!) One of my photos was just picked again for the Hair of the Dog Blog Pet Photography challenge - that makes 7 picks out of 16 entries, not bad :D Now for me to just get out there!
