Life through the lens...

Lily of the Incas

Alstromeria. A native plant of South America. I think this one is called psittacina.
I have had it in the garden a couple of years, but this year it has lots more flowers on than before.

Today wasn't how we had planned it.
Nice warm weather, so the plan was to have a day out somewhere.
However a flat tyre meant a trip to the garage.
A rusty piece of metal (only small) but it means we need a new tyre, and they can't get one until tomorrow!

So washing, ironing, hedge cutting, blackberry picking. All jobs that could have waited!

Can't grumble too much as it is nearly two years since we bought a complete set of Michelin tyres.
They have done 21,000 miles but still have a lot of tread left.
They were worth the money.
