Quite a lot of sunshine

What a fabulous day! Started out with a walk along the side of Loweswater from Maggie's Bridge - the toddler even managed to do the first half a mile or so before the rucksack was employed for the remainder. A bit cloudy to begin with but the sun soon started making an appearance and it turned into a gorgeous day.

Then headed to Buttermere and lunch at the Fish Inn before going down to the lakeside for a paddle. Buttermere is one of the best places to be in the sunshine in the Lakes.

Finished off the day by going down to Derwentwater to feed the ducks, have another paddle (or in the case of the toddler a complete soaking), and an icecream. The blip for the day is from here - it was a gorgeous view down the lake with the sun still warm on our faces. It doesn't get much better than this.
