pebble underneath my feet

so many nights sing along the merry blues...

Had a wash with river water in the campsite this morning - which I didn't mind as much as some other people there! As long as it washes some of the dirt away, I'm happy!

We travelled to the Grand Tsingy, part of the National Park of Bemaraha. Tsingy means something like land that you can't walk on in Malagasy, and you can see why when you look at these strange rock formations. I was a bit apprehensive about going to this park because all the guidebooks say how strenuous it is and how you have to be ultra fit to be able to do any of the treks there. Well, it definitely required all our efforts and a bit of hard work but man, I loved it! It's good to do stuff that makes you feel so alive, isn't it? In the afternoon we went to the Petit Tsingy, which aren't as impressive as the big ones but still really fun!

One of my favourite days ever :)
