Yep, it's a Wednesday

And first day back at school for my son.

He seemed ok with it.
New shoes.
New uniform.
New haircut.

That last part took a bit of doing.
Much preparation.
Much persuasion.
After much procrastination.


He's very protective of his trademark hair.
Very thick.
Very blonde.
And, at times, very long.

Wouldn't let me take his photograph this morning though.
On no account was that to happen.
What can a mother do?!

So, here instead is a view from the edge of the Lancashire moors.


And it's still Wednesday!
