Priests mountain - Ammassalik, East Greenland

We climbed this 600m mountain of rotten granite not far from Tasilaq. From the top you could see the surrounding jagged mountains and beyond them you can just make out the white line of the Greenland icecap. The trails are a bit indistinct and the rock so crumbly it tends to disintegrate into loose sand in some places.

This panorama extends round the west side from the south to north, looking away from Tasliaq. The deep cut valleys leaves lakes everywhere of all shades of blue.
