The Old and New

This is the National State Bank clock on the Boulder Mall. It is one of landmarks of Boulder. I could not find out when the clock was actually put up, but as of 1911 it was working directly in front of the National State Bank building. The clock was preserved during the Pearl Street Mall construction, but unfortunately, no longer functions (notice the back has no hands).

I really liked the position of the clock in front of the modernistic office building, with the reflections of the trees and the more traditional style brick buildings behind.
