Golden days

Making the most of the sunshine and the fact that we don't need to worry about pre-school or school for another week, we went out for a stroll this afternoon to harvest some blackberries and enjoy the fields. Thankfully, the only one out of our party to somehow not avoid the stinging nettles and thorns was yours truly. The children for their part declared blackberry picking the "best". A few scratches and stings are probably a price worth paying, I reckon.
