After dawn - in sepia

I went out fairly early this morning to see what I could capture of the morning light. There had been a very colourful sunrise, but by the time I reached the lake, the colours were beautiful muted pinks and greys and blues.

This is a mono landscape course so I feel honour bound to blip a mono landscape. I'm still finding it hard to imagine which images will go well in mono. My favourite picture today has to be in colour because of the subtle pinks in the sky.

We have been in the classroom today and you can hear the creaking of brains with the occasional stifled sigh. I've learned lots again.

I've also booked to return next Spring!
