After the concert

Our last visit to the BBC Proms this year. This time we enjoyed the luxury of a seat, instead of standing in the Arena: it does give a different perspective on the event. At the end of the concert, as the promenaders left the hall to go home, there were just a few left standing in the centre of the arena, on the temporary floor decoration which keeps to the theme used by the BBC in their television trailers for the concerts.

We had a very pleasant evening, made even more enjoyable by meeting up with friends who were also attending the concert. We met in the bar for a chat beforehand and went on to a cafe for a drink and more chat afterwards.
