Bicycles

A busy day, so another emergency blip.

We have been considering replacing our front door which is showing its age and is not in great condition. Having looked at the options, we concluded that we really wanted another solid wood door, but the cost (and concern that it would, long term, give us the same problems as the current door) have made us procrastinate and no decision has been made. I have therefore decided to repair and revarnish the current door at least to keep us going through another winter. Today thererfore involved a visit to the DIY shop for some wood filler and varnish, and a day spent sanding down the whole surface, and filling the holes and gaps and staining the filler the right colour. I should be able to varnish tomorrow.

On the way out of the DIY shop I noticed a couple of white bikes lying on the road. I hope someone comes to collect them.
