Journey Day 2
The dry side of the mountains - and hot too! It is better today, the day after the day for this posting, in tiny town of Goldendale, high farm country, loads of windmills, a very cool Observatory where we saw the sun and its demarcations - what an amazing thing, to be able to see the sun close up - relatively speaking!
Barns - love their simple shape and textures.
(Road Notes - great hike up on Cayuse Pass, photos of mop heads ,the plant I fell in love with in Canada Rocky Mountains, down into hot hot Yakima where I posted yesterday's of Mt Rainier and thanks for all the love it got! Then onto Goldendale for the Observatory, onto Maryhill to camp for the night on the Mighty Columbia River, a huge ice age drainage that takes water out of many the northwest mountains to the great Pacific. Wind was wild there last night, and still there were board sailors on the river!)
