Stumbling in the Hedgerow

For about ten days this delicate pink plant has had to play second fiddle to my blip of the day.

It occurs sporadically in the hedgerows and it appears to like a sunny location.

At this time of year our hedgerows appear dried up and lifeless but this pink beauty is quite a stunner and really stands out despite its pale colour.

Here I need your help. My Manx wild flower guide does not list it. Can you tell me me its name?

With that knowledge I could then perhaps encourage it to grow elsewhere.
