I'd seen a photo in one of the papers this week showing hundreds of sunflowers near Tower Bridge, which I thought looked rather cheery! I thought I'd have a walk along there after work, as the rain had stopped and the sun was trying to come out, to have a look/take a snap or two of the yellow, happy flowers. Did I dream it? There was nothing there tonight, not even a petal that I could see! Maybe I was on the wrong side of the river? Oh well, Tower Bridge decided to let the Dixie Queen paddle steamer through as I was standing there and I very rarely see it raised when I'm walking past, so this will have to do instead!
