Susan's latest project

Susan is creating a series of decorated name pictures for the next generation of family. This is for Ella who you've seen already. The next will be for Miya, whom you've also seen and the final one (so far) will be for Alba the latest addtion who was born in Edinburgh on 1st September 2013.

As we're off to Cornwall for a week with Doreen, she's also going to have a go at sketching and painting while we're away. We're staying at a little cottage near Newquay and plan to visit many of the attractions in the area.

So today has been a day of preparation, packing, getting the food sorted, the route, booking attractions, sorting out the garden and allotment for the week, cooking beetroot, making chutney ete etc.... Neighbours are kindly looking after things while we're away.

It seems the place where we're staying doesn't have wireless or any form of internet connection nor any real mobile signal so it may be a week or so before you hear from me again.
