Orla loves watching Art Attack. Today she was inspired to make her own art show (see it here).

I put Orla to bed tonight and I wouldn't let her wash her hands in the convoluted manner she wanted to, involving putting soap into a cup. That prompted this exchange:

Orla: You're not as nice as daddy.
Me: Am I not? (she's right, I'm not).
Orla: no, you're just a bit meaner. You have to work hard at being gooder Mummy.
