A passion for Scottish landscape

Today sees the start of Perthshire Open Studios (7-15th September) and I took the opportunity to visit Lorna Dairon in Dunblane.

Lorna belongs to the growing group of artists (of which I am one) who went to Art College as mature students.

Her work is very textural and atmospheric and she uses everything from salt, tissue paper, wax and polyfiller to build up different layers in her work.
