Fruity

I know I posted a couple of photos like this last year too, but no apologies for this. I picked a bumper crop of blackberries today (about 2.5kg), not far from where I live. It amazes me that nobody else seems to pick them - there are always loads there and they never seem to be picked. Not that I'm complaining :)

Once they're soaked for a while, as here, they seem to be a bit pinker than when I picked them, but they're no less tasty. Most of these are now in the freezer, and will probably be turned into crumbles at various points throughout the year. Although I have found a couple of very nice blackberry gin and vodka recipes which might be worth a try!
