Day Two .................

and at the top of the hill (again).

The town was holding a festival last night and the firework display started at midnight (and finished about 01.30 this morning) ...... we caught the bus up and walked right through the town ...... the main square was jam-packed with people and around 20 large firework "structures" .... and the Church looked very "Disney".

We managed to get a spot (by a bar) to people watch and be ready to enjoy the firework display .......

'Elf and safety would have had a field day as we were all allowed to stand only a few feet away from these massive structures as they were lit .......... all choreographed to music and a fabulous job done by these volunteers from the town.

They turned the lights off on the Church while the display went on and the grand finale was a huge display from the top ...... amazing.

Then the long 3 kms walk down the steep hill and finally got to bed at about 3.ooam.

(This is the front of the Church featured yesterday and the firework you see was at least 3 mtrs (10 feet) across and changed colour as it burnt.)

No big fancy camera so you don't get perfect shots ...........
