sunset; nor'west arch over South Bay, Kaikoura

Went to Kaikoura for the weekend on a Nature Photography Society field trip run by Gingernan. It was excellent. Weather, birds, co-operated and the company and accomodation was superb. Thanks G so much. Went on a boat trip in the morning after photographing the sunrise. The sea birds were fed with frozen squid in a netting container behind the boat. excellent action shots were had by all. sunset pics in the evening, were stunning as you can see . This great Nor'west arch and colours to die for. Looking the to right of this shot everything was a beautiful shade of pink. As the time went on all colours deepen. Next was pot luck dinner and bed... looking forward to tomorrow.
