Sunday: sunrise, shadows,and scenery

Sunrise this morning wasn't quite as colourful as last nights sunset but was just as powerful. there was a huge bank of cloud which was heading for where the sun was rising so the race was on, the sun won, only just. Coming home I took the route which takes you through Gore Bay. There are alot of pretty fashy baches? there. but a walk along the beach brought me to these stones with great shadows created by the grasses. they appealed to me. looked like those chocolates you get with extra flavour drizzled on the outside..mmmm. Then up the hill we come to The Cathedrals(spelt it wrong on pic). rock formation, quite steep and interesting shapes. erosion has caused this effect. great week-end.
